A sonnet
His eyes tell woeful tales of broken heart
Each glance an echo of dark pasts beneath
And in painful grief he tears us apart
His walls have elevated touching sky
I have known fierce lions love as mine
But in he not such a love can I see
So dreaming in my sleep of a cloud nine
The bride I would be lost somewhere behind
Tales I was told of distant lands unknown
Where man and women were naked beasts
Relinquishing, to be in love, be flown
My lovers kite caught in stiff stirring breeze
Will love be the soothing balm to heal me
Or will I fly forever, committed, un-free?
