While asking a question on twitter recently, I received the most likes and replies I’ve had on any tweet. The question?
‘On a bad day, what is your vice?’
The feedback was awesome. It was interesting to find similarities and differences with types of vices that appeared.
I wanted to make some little response posts to some of the answers I received…
Several people responded to say music was their vice. Sometimes it’s mine too. Angry and frustrated I would indulge low moods in heavy metal or mournful laments with some broken hearted confetti. I have a toddler now so it’s not always easy to escape with loud music BUT, I found some funny songs to laugh about when I did have the chance.
I promise that if your are feeling low, at least one of these songs will help to make you feel a little better. Otherwise a playlist for a fun day.
*Forewarning – I chose these songs for adult audience. Those NOT safe for children have a, * next to the title.
Rusted Root – Send Me On My Way
Da Vinci’s Notebook – Enormous Penis *
Bo Burnham – #Deep
Tim Minchin – Inflatable You *
Jimmy Eat World – The Middle
The Wurzels – Combine Harvester
Tony Christie – Is This The Way To Amarillo?
Bill Bailey – Love Song – Part Troll *
Monty Python – The Lumberjack song
Flanders and Swann – The Gas Man Cometh
Chemical Brothers – The Salmon Dance
Everybody should hear this last song at least once in their lives!
Bas Luhrmann – Everybody’s Free To Wear Sunscreen
I hope that at least one of these tracks made you smile.
May we all remember to look on the bright side of life.
With love,
OnceUnchained
This post is dedicated to those who said music was one of their vices.
